Insurance Plans – Copying

A patient’s Insurance Plan can be edited by selecting their name on the Patient Lookup and clicking on GoTo on the menu bar. Select either Primary or Secondary Insurance Plan. This can also be done from their Patient Information screen. The patient’s Insurance Plan can be also be edited from their Transaction screen.

This feature is very useful in cases where patients have similar insurance plans. By copying insurance plans between patients, you are only copying the insurance plan itself. You are not copying employer, insurance company or group number information.

When you copy insurance plans, you will have a choice to copy “Entire Plan” or to “Copy specific information”, such as only the insurance plan fees.
