Patient Information – Assigning a Family Head

In order to link a family together, the same person must be assigned as Family Head in each family member’s Patient Information screen.

The Family Head is the person who will receive the statement.

The Family Head does not necessarily have to be the person who is the insured employee.

You can add someone to the Family Head list if they are not a patient. This would be used in cases where the insured person is not a patient or in order to send a bill to someone who is not a patient.

When creating a new patient, they will automatically be assigned as their own Family Head.  Because of this, every patient in MOGO is part of a family, even if that family consists of just one patient.

Family Heads can be assigned on the Patient Information screen.
