Patient Lookup List – Patient Menu

Patient on the menu bar on the Patient Lookup List has the following choices:

  • New
    • To add a New Patient.
  • Recall Information
    • To access Recall Information for the patient and their family members.
  • Information
    • To access the Patient Information screen. You can also use [Shift-F1] on the keyboard.
  • Family Table
    •  To access the Family Table in order to link insurance coverage between family members. [Ctrl-F] on the keyboard will also access the family table.
  • Family Aging
    •  To view how the family balance is aged, along with insurance estimates and balance. You can also use [Ctrl-A] on the keyboard.
  • Transaction
    •  To access the patient Transaction screen. You can also use [Shift-F2] on the keyboard.
  • Transaction History
    •  Access the patient Transaction History screen. You can also use [Shift-Ctrl-F2] on the keyboard.
  • Budget Plan
    •  To set up a Budget Plan for the selected patient.
  • Dental Chart
    •  To go to the Restorative Chart.
  • Refer In/Out
    •  To open the Refer In/Out List for the selected patient.
  • Contact Information
    •  To enter Home and Business telephone, fax, e-mail, cellular phone, and pager numbers.
  • Personal eReminder Preferences
    • Opens the Personal eReminder Preferences window. From there, you can setup your patient’s preferences for receiving eReminders. For example: if your office eReminder settings are setup to send text messages as top priority, all patients who have a Home Cell Phone number entered and who has an appointment scheduled will receive a text.  If your patient provides a cell phone number but does not want to receive eReminders as texts you can indicate that in Personal eReminder Preferences.
  • Process Required eSignatures…
    • Checks the eSignature Office Setup and the patient’s history to see if there are any documents the patient is due to electronically sign.
  • View eSignature History…
    • View a list of previously eSigned documents.
  • Pending eSignatures List
    • View a list of all documents that are pending to be eSigned.
  • Confirm eSignatures
    • View a list of all electronically documents.  This is also where you will approve the patient’s signature.
  • eSignature Office Setup
    • This setup contains the default setting for new eSignature computers, the setup for documents that need to be signed, and the destination computers where the patient will sign.
  • Purge
    •  Will purge the selected patient. If this patient is already purged, the option will be Restore Purged Patient. This feature only affects the patient you have selected. You can “Hide Purged Patients” under View on the menu bar. This will hide all purged patients from appearing on the Patient Lookup List.
  • PSR History
    • This will open the Periodontal Screening Record (PSR) for the patient. The PSR information is entered from the Chart by clicking on the PSR button. You can also access the PSR History from the Chart.
  • Prescription History
    • To open the Prescription History for the patient. Any prescriptions printed from the Chart or from the Transaction screen will be documented here. You will click on the Prescriptions  icon in the Chart or on the Transaction screen to print the prescription. You can also access the Prescription History from the Chart.
  • Online Patient Registration Management
    • Opens the Online Patient Registration Management window to check for and process Online Forms.
  • Online Patient Registration Setup
    • Opens the Online Patient Registration Setup window.
  • New Medical History
    • Generates a new Medical History form.
  • View Medical History
    • Opens the Medical History viewer with the most recently filled out Medical History displayed.
  • Medical History Setup
    • Launches Medical History Setup, which contains the following options:
      • Auto fill in previously submitted Medical History – Creates a new Medical History submission with the most recently submitted form prefilled.
      • Show all sections on one page – Regardless of your Medical History setup, all questions will be on one page if this is checked off.
      • Patient signature is required – Check this off if you require your patients to sign their Medical History electronically.
      • Click on Medical History button to:
        • Add new Medical History – When clicking the Medical History icon on the Lookup List a new Medical History form will be generated.
        • View latest Medical History – When clicking the Medical History icon on the Lookup List the viewer will open with the most recent Medical History displayed.
      • Open on Computer: – Sets the default destination for the Medical History form to be filled out/signed at.
      • [Download] – Downloads the latest customized Medical History form.  Includes added and modified questions and answer selections.
