To Send a Separate Statement

Enter an S in the Account Type field. This is useful when you send Family statements, but occasionally need to send a family member their own Statement. You cannot enter an S in a Family Head’s Account Type.

If a family member has an “S” in their Account Type field, they will not be shown on the Family Head’s Aging window since their balance is separate. If you view their own Aging window, you will see their name, ID number, ID number of the Family Head, and “Account Type: S” at the top of the Aging window.

When printing statements by Individual, the last transaction line may indicate a “Payment to/from other accounts”. This will show a total payment amount that has been distributed to this patient from other family members or from non-family members.

When printing statements by Family, the only time the “Payment to/from other accounts” is shown is when there is an S in the Account Type field on their Patient Information screen, or if a payment was distributed from a non-family member.

The Transaction History screen for a patient with an “S” in their Account Type field, will not show information for any other family members. If you mark “Show All Family Members”, MOGO will tell you to the History screen of the Family Head in order to see all family members.
