Est Insurance Tab
Est. Insurance has three settings. These settings apply to estimated insurance.
− Remaining Insurance Benefit Amount
If checked, the patient’s remaining insurance benefit amount will be reduced as soon as treatment is completed. If unchecked, the amount will not reduce until an insurance payment is entered.
− Estimated Insurance for Incomplete Treatment
With this unchecked, incomplete treatment will calculate based on the total amount of remaining annual coverage.
− Credit balances
If a patient has insurance pending, and this option is checked off, their receipts and/or statements will not include credit balances (if present).
