MOGO version 13,
Build 80 (9/03/10)
The MOGO version 13 maintenance update is for existing MOGO 13 users. This self-extracting setup program contains the latest enhancements and fixes for version 13, and can only be loaded to a computer with MOGO version 13 already installed. This is not a full upgrade, so it will not upgrade previous versions of MOGO to version 13. Do not download UPV1300.EXE unless you are using MOGO version 13. Please remember to run a full back up before installing the update.
Build 80 Contains the Following Enhancements & Fixes:
- The "Hide Purged Patients" selection now works properly on the Birthday tab of the To Do List.
- The date fields when printing patient notes now displays correctly and defaults to the current date.
- The date when right clicking on a PCSnt/SCSnt line and entering in an insurance payment now displays the current date.
- If you modify the display settings for the perio-chart and access the default setup, the modified display settings do not revert back.
Build 79 Contains the Following Enhancements & Fixes:
- When the auto move to next position in the perio charting is setup it will now skip pontics.
- Separated setup into two tabs on the perio chart.
- A pocket depth warning was added.
- When the opacity slider bar is focused, you can now press the arrow keys on the keyboard to change the values and update the layout.
- The option to input Furcation has been disabled on pontics.
- The permissions are now correctly recognized for the recall setup from the patient lookup list.
- Printing a family ledger from the appointment monitor no longer causes freezing.
- The option to right click on an insurance claim code and enter a payment shows the date and information correctly.
- The problem with the auto eReminder start and end time has been resolved.
- The problem with the auto eReminder sending to all categories has been resolved.
- Auto eReminders will start correctly now if the birthday reminder is the only automation selected.
Build 73 Contains the Following Enhancements & Fixes:
- Added Upper, Lower, Right, and Left labels to the perio chart print out.
- Enhanced report buttons.
- The estimated adjustment for participating plan with adjustment no longer shows on the production report.
- Problem sending multiple appointment reminders to the same person in automatic mode has been resolved.
- eReminder Birthday generation is now displaying the correct patient list based on the setup.
- The message “Sending eReminder” no longer displays continuously in automatic mode.
- The program defined and user defined templates for eReminders now work correctly.
- eReminder automation works properly now.
Build 71 Contains the Following Enhancements & Fixes:
- The buttons on the transaction screen have been enhanced.
- When you save a new fax, if a fax server is not running it will prompt the user.
- You can now select a priority for a fax.
- When a fax is set to high priority, the creator of the fax will get notification through the MOGO Interoffice messaging system.
- When a fax is set to High Priority, the person who created the fax should receive notification through MOGO Interoffice messaging system when the fax started to send, completed, and each time it fails.
- MOGO Computer Screen - Added 2 new columns MARS Running and Update Service Running. It will show if the two services are currently running or not.
- Attempting to edit certain word processor documents with tables no longer causes an error when you try to save.
- The auto close for the lablink and comment databases has been resolved.
- When at least one of the compared charts has no recession, the pocket depth now shows correctly.
- The eReminder Automation is fixed.
- Personalizing your color scheme in Windows no longer causes problems in the program.
- PSR information is now showing properly on the new dental chart.
- When changing fax status (not sent, completed or canceled) the message displays correctly.
Build 67 Contains the Following Enhancements & Fixes:
- Emails that are forwarded or replied to are now saved to the the current date and time instead of the original email's date and time.
- Extra spaces at the beginning or end of email account server and login names no longer prevent the program from sending or receiving email with that account.
- eSignature and Online Medical History wording for Mitral Valve Prolapse has been corrected.
- In Recall Setup when running MOGO in Windows Vista or Windows 7, Clicking on the due period no longer causes the screen to flash continually.
Build 65 Contains the Following Enhancements & Fixes:
- The Toolbar in the Image Cabinets has been updated to the same look and feel as the buttons on the Look-Up List.
- A number of changes have been made in the Image Cabinets to make the screen more user-friendly.
- The icon for the Image Cabinets on the Look-Up List has been changed.
- Interface setup can now be accessed from the Image Cabinets
- The Online Patient Registration and Appointment Request buttons have been merged into a single button. The new button automatically opens the Online Management screen and selects the first tab with pending registrations, requests, or medical histories.
- Buttons on the Patient Look-up List now flash a "play" icon in the upper left corner when new training videos are available.
- Icons have been added next to the training video menus to make them easier to locate.
- When ProImage is selected in interface setup, clicking on the X-Ray dropdown menu no longer causes an error.
- In the Dental Chart's compare view, the current probing data is no longer displayed in the lower "Compare To" list after clicking Reload.
- Extractions entered as a treatment plan in the Restorative Chart are no longer displayed as completed extractions on the Periodontal Chart.
- Treatment entered for primary teeth are no longer displayed on permanent teeth in the Periodontal Chart.
- The Perio Chart no longer fails to save when you click the "X" in the upper right corner to close the window.
Build 64 Contains the Following Enhancements & Fixes:
- When loading historical probings in the perio chart, teeth that were present when the probing was done but are currently missing are now displayed semi-transparent.
- A new option has been added to the online patient registration form that allows users to save their information for the next time they use the site.
- The MOGO License Information screen has been upgraded to allow users to change their Online Office Registration as well. The title of the screen has also been changed to reflect the new functionality.
- The new Online Medical History feature has been released.
- The online patient registration form no longer treats city, state and zip code as required fields.
- Online Appointment Requests that do not include a day and time can now be accepted.
Build 62 Contains the Following Enhancements & Fixes:
- The plaque and surface graphics are no longer displayed on the perio chart for primary teeth that are marked as missing.
- eSignature Medical Histories are no longer automatically swapped to "Online Medical History" and then ignored by the program.
- When loading data from a previous chart into a new one, teeth marked as missing are now skipped.
Build 61 Contains the Following Enhancements & Fixes:
- The Periodontal Chart now displays pre-existing and completed crowns, bridges and implants.
Build 60 Contains the Following Enhancements & Fixes:
- Online Patient Registrations and Appointment Requests are now available.
- The 'Verify Patient Balance' option has been removed for the Patient Look Up List's Help menu.
Build 58 Contains the Following Enhancements & Fixes:
- The new periodontal chart now displays primary teeth
- When creating a new periodontal chart, you can now load the data from a previous chart as a starting point
- When the screen isn't wide enough to display all of the buttons on the new Patient Look Up List, a drop down list now provides access to the remaining buttons
- MOGO Windows now supports downloading additional content. As new features are released, the latest training videos, powerpoint presentations and documentation are automatically downloaded through the MOGO Update Service and displayed on appropriate Help menus or throughout the program.
- The new email notification no longer continues to display after the new email has been marked as read
- Attempts to attach a MOGO Image to an email are no longer ignored by the program
Build 56 Contains the Following Enhancements & Fixes:
- The color and size of arrow on the perio chart has been changed to make it more visible
- A new setup screen has been added for Online Patient Registrations and Appointment Requests
- Tooltips have been added to the numbers displayed on the Dental Chart's compare view.
- The numbers on the Dental Chart's compare view are now displayed with a green foreground when the numbers have improved and a red background when they have worsened
- Right clicking on an employee's in/out status no longer generates an error
- In message History, the clicking the Select All button no longer skips some of the messages
- When re-printing a letter from notes, the font is no longer increased
- Patient Pictures no longer occasionally reopen after being closed without selecting a different patient
To Install the MOGO Update:
- Close MOGO
- Backup your system
- Download the latest build file
- Click Run from the File Download - Security Window

- After the download is complete, click Run once again
- Click Next in the Install Shield window
- Read the End-User License Agreement, select I Accept and click Next
- When the installation if complete, click Finish to exit the installation
