MOGO version 12 is shipping on schedule starting February 2, 2009!
Below is the latest version 12 Maintenance Update for existing MOGO version
12 clients. MOGO version 12 maintenance updates can be downloaded free of charge. Any update
downloaded from the MOGO website cannot be reversed. Perform a full backup of
your system before installing any update.
MOGO Updates
MOGO version upgrades incur normal upgrade charges. If you are interested in
upgrading your version of MOGO, please call our offices (800) 944-MOGO (6646).
If you are using MOGO versions 9.01, 10.01 or 11.01, you may download
maintenance updates on our prior versions' update
page.
MOGO version 12 (Build 140) 9/2/09
The MOGO version 12 Maintenance Update is for existing MOGO 12 users.
This self-extracting setup program contains the latest enhancements and fixes
for version 12, and can only be loaded to a computer with MOGO version 12 already
installed. This is not a full upgrade, so it will not upgrade previous versions
of MOGO to version 12. Do not download UPV1200.EXE unless you are using
MOGO version 12. Please remember to run a full back up before installing
the update.

Build 140 Contains the Following Enhancements:
- eSignature Setup has been changed to eSignature Office Setup. All menus that open this screen have been updated to reflect the change
- A new screen has been added for editing and adding eSignature Document setups
- The edit and add buttons in eSignature Office Setup now open the eSignature Document setup screen
- The eSignature Office Setup now lists the computers the office has setup for use with eSignatures
Build 140 Contains the Following Fixes:
- The new LabLink order confirmation screen was accidentally released to clients and has been reverted to the original screen
- When generating eReminder Appointment Reminders, the program no longer occasionally adds patients to the call list when they have valid email addresses and/or cell phone numbers
Build 138 Contains the Following Enhancements:
- A new mobile phone image has been added to eReminders
- The preview window for eStatements has been updated to work with the original statement printing
Build 138 Contains the Following Fixes:
- In the Appointment eReminder list, manually changing the status to "Left Message" is no longer ignored
- Printers that return the wrong resolution no longer cause the QuickLetter module to display the wrong paper size and margins
Build 128 Contains the Following Fixes:
- In the Recall eReminder To Do List, using the "Select All" and "Select first #" options no longer randomly fails to highlight certain rows
Build 127 Contains the Following Enhancements:
- Vertical ruler bars have been added to Quick Letter and the Word Processor
- Default margins have been added to the program that are based on the page size
- When printing a Quick Letter, MOGO Windows now automatically changes to the correct orientation based on the selected paper size when printing to specific label printers that reverse the landscape/portrait setting
Build 127 Contains the Following Fixes:
- Drag & Drop now works with Merge fields in the Word Processor
- Old documents with invalid margins no longer print with the margins doubled
Build 123 Contains the Following Enhancements:
- When saving the printer with a document, printing a specific number of copies is now supported
- In the Appointment To Do List, years that do not contain appointments are no longer displayed
- The message that is displayed as databases approach 4GB has been updated
- When choosing dates in the OCS payroll report, the calendar is automatically opened so you can choose a different date if the starting date is later than the ending date
- The OCS Check in/out status history screen will now display as many rows of the check in status as possible
- When generating daysheets, dates that are skipped because they do not contain any data are now marked as Generated ("XX" with a yellow background) on the yearmap
Build 123 Contains the Following Fixes:
- Switching Windows to use large fonts no longer prevents the Recall Master List from opening
- Switching Windows to use large fonts no longer prevents check marks from displaying on the Appointment Monitor
- The Next Statement Date is now displayed properly on the A/R after it is updated
- After changing codes to be tracked with an existing recall setup, the "You have no license..." message is no longer displayed.
- In the Word Processor, the "Address Line 1 and Line 2 Combined" Merge Field title has been corrected
- Attempting to re-save an existing document as a new name no longer causes an error
- In the To Do List, the Display Totals menu item no longer becomes disabled as you work in the screen
- Image merge variables now remain centered after the document is closed & reopened and when the variables are merged
- The Deposit Slip no longer displays an error message when there are no items to export to Quicken
- When saving the printer with a document, invalid paper trays and paper sizes reported by the driver no longer cause errors and display issues when printing a Quick Letter
- The colors in the Absence without Authorization window now display correctly
- eReminder messages that were setup before the program supported multiple messages can now be edited
Build 117 Contains the Following Enhancements:
- Refer out letters are now saved to notes for both the patient and the Doctor
- The patient's zip code has been added to the ToDo List, Refer In/ Out and Tx Status

- The appointment goals in the business analysis report now match the goals listed in the appointment book
- After adding a period in eReminder setup, deleting the number of days for that period no longer generates an error
- Recall Cards no longer print "Period #" when the recall message is left blank
- On the daysheet, billed insurance is now correct
Build 116 Contains the Following Enhancements:
- CDS and QRP documents can now be sent via email. If sent to someone other than the patient, the email will be displayed in notes for both the recipient and the patient
- The login right "Access Web Data" can now be enabled for user SUPERVISOR.
Note: The existing eLogin site has not been upgraded to allow SUPERVISOR. This feature has been added to the next version of the site. Please contact MOGO support if you are interested in testing the new eLogin site
- The amount of time before an appointment that a reminder can be sent has been increased to 4 days
- In the ToDo List, the "forward notes" feature on the right-click menu now supports multi-selection
Build 116 Contains the Following Fixes:
- The login name field on the eLogin site now accepts more than 10 characters
- The number of patients seen on the Daysheet is now correct
- Changes to the order of eReminder sending preferences are no longer ignored
- Appointment Symbols are no longer removed after receiving an eReminder confirmation
- New treatment can now be selected for a budget plan without closing and reopening the Transaction screen
- The shading of accounts that are not due to receive a statement in the A/R has been fixed
- After printing statements, opting to set the next statement date no longer causes the list to display incorrect values in the interest column
- Cancelling out of the Confirm eSignatures screen when there are no signatures to be confirmed no longer causes an error
Build 115 Contains the Following Enhancements:
- Test messages can now be sent from the eReminder message editing screen
- The "auto apply return message instruction" option in the eReminder message editor has been changed to "Automatically add reply instructions"
- The text describing the "Automatically add reply instructions" has been updated
- The eReminder options in the Appointment book have been updated to match other areas of the program
- The eStatement message that comes up while generating the A/R has been removed
- eSignature now supports multiple computers
- The eStatement trial is now available to all offices. Registered offices
that use the "Try Now" button will not be billed. The selected eStatements will not be sent to your patients.
Build 115 Contains the Following Fixes:
- Attempting to use the eStatement Trial no longer causes an error
- New patients that have been deleted are no longer included as new patients on the daysheet
- Attempting to re-index the Family Head List no longer causes an error
- eReminders sent through MOGO are now received by AT&T phones
- eReminders sent through MOGO to email addresses with long user names (for example: VeryLongUserName@mogo.com) are no longer ignored by the MOGO server
Build 109 Contains the Following Enhancements:
- eReminders now supports individual messages for each period
- The layout of the sample messages in eReminder setup has been modified
- The sample messages in eReminder setup now display merged text
- A new option, "Auto Apply Return Message Instruction", has been added to eReminder messages. This options will automatically add "Please reply 'Y' or call {Appointment Provider Business Phone} to confirm."
- eReminders can now be sent through MOGO. This feature allows users to bypass issues related to firewalls and ISP's
- In the Appointment ToDo list, the appointments that will be processed are now highlighted
- The amount of time before an e-mail is automatically marked as read has been increased
Build 109 Contains the Following Fixes:
- Attempting to delete an unread e-mail from the deleted items folder no longer causes an error
- The deleted items folder now refreshed properly after e-mails are deleted or marked as read/unread
Build 103 Contains the Following Enhancements:
- The Email Account Setup Wizard now has options to set the type of secure connection for mail servers that require SSL or TLS
- eReminder edit message display screen now appears in light yellow since it is read only
- The office name entered in MOGO License Information is now included in the "From" field for email eReminders
- The list of server names used by eReminders to send text messages has been updated
- When processing eReminder confirmations, the program now ignored the "original message" that some wireless carriers automatically add to the reply
Build 103 Contains the Following Fixes:
- Refreshing of the folders and current list in DCS has been improved
- Attempts to click the "Attach File" icon while sending a new email are no longer ignored
- Renaming a folder in DCS while the folder has unread items no longer causes the count to become part of the folder name
- Attempting to open an email after it's account has been deleted no longer results in an error
- Emails sent to LabLink no longer display as alerts when the email was sent without a plain copy of the email text
- The Budget Summary report now displays the correct patient payment to date amount
- eReminders sent to email addresses are now displayed in Related Notes
- The Attach MOGO Image icon shown in the menu bar is now the same as the button
- The "Remove" button in the E-mail Account Setup has been re-enabled
- The last character of some of the e-mail folders are no longer "cut off" when DCS is first opened
- Specifically formatted spam e-mails no longer cause MOGO to cancel sending and receiving. They cannot be displayed as an e-mail and are now auto-deleted
To Install the MOGO Update:
- Close MOGO
- Backup your system
- Download the latest build file
- Click Run from the File Download - Security Window

- After the download is complete, click Run once again
- Click Next in the Install Shield window
- Read the End-User License Agreement, select I Accept and click
Next
- When the installation if complete, click Finish to exit
